Russia is in Decline

Russia hosts African nations in a summit. That story is here. 

16 of the 43 African heads of state will show up. This has to be a huge disappointment for Russia who tried to bill this as the Russian Davos.

Even African nations are distancing themselves from white hot Russia.

Wheat Prices Soar Underscoring Instability

Wheat prices soared after Russia attacked a Ukraine port. That story is here. 

Investors are on edge. If the wheat market is this sensitive to one attack, investors should remain wary of other nations increased involvement in global conflict.

The Fed Raises Rates, Again

Investors are no doubt disappointed as many are concerned that high interest rates are crippling the economy and tempt a recession.
