Hunter Biden

Did Hunter Biden get off too easy? The story probing experts is here.

Donald Trump

37 new charges against Trump. That story is here.

Take aways:

Many believe that Trump’s charges are simply a result of political activism while others believe that the charges will have little impact on the looming election.

It should be noted that some believe that Biden should be facing RICO charges, and this plea deal is indicative of a two-tiered legal system.

As political tensions continue to mount, savvy investors continue to purchase gold.

Gold Predictions Update

Fed Chair Powell delivered remarks to the House Financial Services Committee on June 21, 2023. This type of speech is delivered semi - annually.

Here’s the BB talk-away: Powell is hawkish on inflation. He said in part, “inflation pressures continue to run high, and the process of getting inflation back down to 2% has a long way to go…”. His remarks can be found in the story here.

Don’t expect interest rates to drop anytime soon. This impacts all sectors of the investment markets, and in particular precious metals and real estate. There are key downstream consequences to the stock market.

The bottom line: Strategic holdings in gold make sense.

Putin has a new Nuclear Toy

Putin says he has a new nuclear weapon, the Satin II, capable of carrying 10 nukes. He plans to deploy into combat duty ‘in the near future.’

I don’t need to make this sound any scarier than it is. Nuclear weapons are likely to start WWIII. As world tensions continue to mount, smart investors continue to purchase gold.

Do you remember when?

Here's a little 1950's nostalgia:

“The wonderful feeling of belonging

-Heirloom Sterling

On this day in history:

1861: Two federal (union) gun boats attack confederate batteries at Mathias Point, Virginia

1812: Napoleon crosses the Neman River to invade Russia.

1964: The FTC announces that starting in 65’ cigarette manufactures must include warning labels about the harmful impacts of smoking.
